Organic is the Word: Expect More From Your Cannabis Products

Everyday consumers are selecting products that are certified organic or grown with organic principles, free from synthetic pesticides, insecticides, and growth hormones, NOT utilized. There are so many products that are Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Organic. So why should your cannabis be any different?

Consumers have a right to purchase marijuana-cannabis products that follow the same principles as the food they ingest and the personal care products they apply.

Florida’s in-state 21 and older cannabis consumption population is estimated at 10 million, plus annual out-of-state visitors aged 21+ adds another roughly 70 million. Consumers it’s your right to ensure the adult use cannabis market is not full of companies trying to keep up with demand by pumping plants full of synthetic performance growth regulators (PGRs). Plant growth regulators are chemicals that affect flowering, aging, and root growth.

PGRs negatively impact cannabis plants including a loss of terpene profiles, which means a loss of trichomes. This equates to a loss of the “entourage effect” the essential primal vital role terpene profiles have on cannabinoids, the full  broad spectrum effect. Cannabis plants with depressed terpene profiles are not providing consumers with their full potential. Meaning consumers are losing the plant's natural botanical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content levels, and anti-inflammatory and pain relief characteristics.

The National Institutes of Health reports, “the residues of PGRs in agricultural products are seriously detrimental to human health because they have been found with hepatotoxicity (liver damage), nephrotoxicity (kidney damage), genotoxicity (genetic cell damage), neurotoxicity (nervous system damage), carcinogenicity (cause cancer), teratogenicity (fetal damage). PGRs are suspected to disrupt the function of human and animal reproductive health.”
